Water element and how to balance it

We are slowly getting to the end of winter as the season traditionally associated with Water element. ❄️ But what does the Water element represent when talking about human character?☯️


If your personality is influenced mostly by Water, you have strong willpower, a determined nature, and a tendency to be self-sufficient and independent.🌊


You seek knowledge and understanding, not only of the world around you, but also about yourself. As a result, you bring sharp, critical thinking to the issues you face in life - but sometimes you can speak before you think and a be a bit too sharp. 💧

Taking care of the water element in you means to protect your kidneys and their life essence. 🌊 And that requires a healthy lifestyle based on:


🖤 nutritious food (especially the black/blue food like plums, dates, black beans or black sesame)


🖤 regular exercise (especially exercise with calming effects on your mind and low-impact on your joints such as yoga or Pilates)


🖤 drinking enough water and definitely avoiding stimulants like coffee, cola and especially energy drinks❗❗❗


Since salty taste is associated with water element and kidneys, a pinch of salt is considered beneficial but you definitely don't need too much.🧂


If water is the strongest element in you, you’ll feel at your best when you’re in or near water, so swimming, walking at the beach or even having a bath at home are great choices for you. 🏊‍♀️💦🛀


And keep in mind to stay social - it will help you feel more energised and vital than isolation which the water element tends to seek. 💫
