This is a great gluten-free and sugar free variation of banana bread 🍌🍞🍌
I love this option but you can always adjust the recipe to your taste and combine almond flour with any other flour or add maple syrup if this b. bread not sweet enough for you 🍌🐒
Ingredients:
🍌 2 very ripe bananas
🍌 2 ½ cups of almond flour
🍌 1 teaspoon baking soda
🍌 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
🍌 1/4 teaspoon salt
🍌 2 eggs (for vegan option use flax eggs
🍌 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (and/or pumpkin spice)
🍌 vanilla
🍌 walnuts (cut into small pieces)
🍌 optional: ground flax seeds
Preheat the oven to 180℃. In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth. Add the eggs and mix until fully combined. Add almond flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt and mix. Move to a greased loaf pan. Bake for approximately 50 minutes or until the toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
Serve warm (toasted on a pan) with quark and cinnamon 💛
